These chandeliers that are installed at ISG construction in Bradford are made up of three different Eclipsis rings and a custom made ceiling rose which houses the PSUs. The three different rings are 1000mm, 800mm and 600mm in diameter and have brushed stainless steel to the outer edges. Each ring is manufactured so that the wires run through the ring itself. As the rings are a different size and the wires run at an angle, each ring is reinforced to take the strain of the smaller rings beneath it. This gives a unique and clean look and minimalises the visual clutter of the wiring.
The three different sized rings give a chandelier effect and each ring is 200mm smaller than the one above it. There are two sets of these installations, one either side of the split staircase.
The glass fronted building allows the these lighting installations to be seen as you drive into the carpark and creates an eye catching feature at night.
These rings are hung from a custom ceiling rose made from brushed stainless steel that compliments the fittings. This ceiling rose also hides the PSUs and the cables.
Each ring is manufactured slightly differently so the cables and the electrical wires pass through the rings. The upper rings are held in pace by wire clamps and the lower ring is hung.
This is just an example of the unique way in which Eclipsis light fittings can be customised and tailored to suit a particular project. From the different sized rings to the customised hanging solution and the ceiling rose – all of this was hand made to suit this project. Why not get in touch and find out how we can help you?
